Shanghai Mayor visited ERA stand at the China Technology Fair

Shanghai, April 27th, 2015 ERA Company exhibited its surveillance and tracking ATM systems at the 3rd China Technology International Fair in Shanghai, China. The event took place at Shanghai World Expo Exhibition & Convention Center on April 23 – 25, 2015.

Czech Republic has become the main partner of the exhibition this year and thus its exhibition hall, including ERA stand, was visited by many Chinese official representatives such as Shanghai mayor Yang Xiong. ERA attracted their attention by presenting surface guidance and PRM systems, which have been in use at the Beijing International Airport since the 2008 Summer Olympics.

Mr Yang Xiong stopped by at ERA exhibition stand and has spoken to Managing Director Viktor Sotona. „We consider China a territory of major business opportunities for our company hence we appreciate the possibility to present our passive radiolocation surveillance systems here in Shanghai. ERA already has left some ‚trace‘ on Chinese airports . The first big contract we had obtained was supplying ERA civil multilateration system to the Beijing airport. Its ability to track the aircrafts even while landing into two parallel runways helped to increase the level of safety of the airport with the upswing of air traffic during the summer Olympics,“ stated Viktor Sotona.

China Technology International Fair belongs to the most important exhibition events of the year in Shanghai. Due to the fact the Czech Republic is the country of main partnership in 2015 there were present many Czech politicians and major industrial companies (in fields such as health care, high-tech industry, transport etc.) presented their products in the Czech Technological Pavilion.
