ERA took part of the NATO exercise Unified Vision 2014 in Norway

Norway, May 12th – 30th, 2014 ERA participated in the NATO military exercise Unified Vision 2014 with its passive radiolocation system VERA-NG and MSPSR technology demonstrator Silent Guard in May. A number of ERA professionals became part of the trial tracking the flying targets and providing their positional data.

Unified Vision 2014 (UV14) was NATO's biggest ever trial of Joint Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (JISR), comprising satellites, aircraft, unmanned aerial vehicles, naval vessels, ground surveillance sensors and human intelligence from 18 NATO Allies.

UV14 took place in Norway from 18-28 May and aims at testing NATO's ability to gather information and fuse intelligence from multiple sources: from space, in the air, on land and at sea, at different stages of a crisis. Various ISR capabilities are expected to perform in testing situations, stretching their ability to function properly in complex environments.
