ERA took part in the Czech - Irish Security and Defence Forum in Dublin
At the end of October ERA representative participated in the event, which was supposed to further strengthen cooperation between Ireland and the Czech Republic in the field of defence and security. The Czech - Irish Security and Defence Forum took place at Stephen´s Green Club in Dublin, Ireland. It was organized by the Czech Embassy in Dublin, Czech Defence and Security Industry Association (DSIA), Irish Defence and Security Association (IDSA) and Czech Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Czech companies of defence industry presented their portfolios to Irish partners in three discussion panels: 1) chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear protection, 2) ground-based defence, 3) air domain – here there were also presentations of ERA as a suppliers of passive surveillance systems and Aero Vodochody as a producer of training jets.
President of DSIA Jiří Hynek and president of IDSA Pat O´Connor signed the Memorandum of Understanding. Informal networking among Czech and Irish partners followed.
