ERA participated in the traditional Czech conference focused on Air Defence PVO 2024
ERA took part in the PVO 2024 annual conference, held in Brno in April 25 – 26. The 25th year of the traditional event was organised by the Department of Air Defence Systems at the club of the Faculty of Military Technology of the University of Defence. This year the highlight topic was Layered Air Defence as a Key Against Future Threats.
ERA expert Vojtěch Stejskal from the Product and Strategy Department delivered the lecture “Ever Growing Role of Passive Surveillance Technology in Air Defence” along with a presentation of the VERA-NG system and its use cases. ERA Sales Manager Lukáš Konvalina was also present to support the task. ERA participated as one of the partners along with other prominent producers of defence and security technologies, such as Diehl, Hensoldt, Saab, Lockeed Martin, Rafael, etc.
The Department of AD Systems makes up one of the research/pedagogic work centres of the Faculty of Military Technology. It is tasked with preparing university-graduate specialists of Air Defence Troops for the combat utilization of weapon systems and Air Defence units, using automated command and control systems.
