ERA listens and speaks within Eurocontrol meeting of NSUR

NSUR (Network Surveillance User Group) ensures global ATM interoperability, using an optimal mix of Mode S, multilateration, ground- and space-based ADS-B and non-cooperative surveillance. ERA is a regular participant of the group´s meetings and always expounds the manufacturer´s point of view.

The benefits of cooperation and sharing of experience could be the other abbreviation of this meeting. The new challenges are briefly emerging as is the need to solve them. The discussion about the ADS-B spoofing (worrying topic nowadays) was one of the most intensive. The NSUR members, including ERA product manager, demonstrated that the problem is mitigatable if one focuses on right data.

The group´s 80 active members prepare documents on surveillance technologies being implemented currently and in the upcoming future.
