ERA introduced its defence solutions to Middle East partners within the World Defence Show in Riyadh

ERA, exhibiting along with its sister company MESIT and other companies of Czech defence industry, introduced its passive surveillance solutions for Air Defence and Electronic Warfare at the trade fair World Defence Show 2024 (WDS), held in Riyadh, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, on February 4 – 8.

ERA managers of Product and Sales Departments presented the Passive ESM Tracker VERA-NG and Over the Horizon system PLESS for tracking and identification of targets. Several prominent personages visited the official Czech stand, including His Excellency, the Czech Ambassador to KSA Pavel Kafka and deputy minister of the Ministry of Defence of the Czech Republic Daniel Blažkovec. As part of the WDS, ERA representatives also joined the networking reception organized by the Czech Embassy in Riyadh.

The prestigious four-day event, visited by around 750 exhibitors and over 100 international delegations from 45 countries, was aimed at demonstrating technology from the land, sea, and air sectors of defence. The air show included also dynamic live demonstrations of various aircraft - displays, manoeuvres and flyovers – at the Riyadh airport.
