ERA has subsidized a competition for students to motivate them to study technical disciplines

The Secondary School of Electrical Engineering based in ERA's hometown of Pardubice organized a competition in IT knowledge and electrotechnics for primary school graduates at the end of November. ERA Company has supported the event by providing the prizes for winners. The students competed in three disciplines entitled PC expert, S-Robot and Electronics in a different perspective. Pardubice is a “promised land” for such specialists: there are several companies focused on electrotechnics headquartered in the city, including so called “radar companies” such as ERA.

Long-term cooperation with the School of Electrical Engineering is part of ERA's unofficial HR policy in search of highly valued experts in this field of industry; a number of the school's alumni already work for the company. Apart from this institution, ERA has had a partnership with several university bodies: the Czech University of Technology in Prague, the Brno University of Technology, the University of Pardubice and the University of Defence in Brno.
