ERA expert contributes to ICAO meeting in Montreal

ERA was honoured to accept the nomination of EUROCONTROL to join the recent ICAO meeting of Surveillance Panel in Montreal, Canada. ERA expert Vojtech Pek was invited as an adviser among the world-wide group of ATM specialists to discuss 1030/1090 MHz frequency occupancy topics. Vojtech presented ERA’s attitude to transponder occupancy issue and its solution how to keep the spectrum occupancy on minimal levels.

ICAO Surveillance Panel expertise prepared several Proposals for Amendment which will become part of the international ICAO standards (e. g. Annex 10 Vol. IV) after final approval.
