ERA emphasized the importance of PET systems in NATO Research Specialists’ Meeting in Slovenia

ERA participated in NATO SET-321 Research Specialists’ Meeting on “Distributed Multi-Spectral/Statics Sensing”, held in Blend, Slovenia on 23 – 24 May. ERA representative presented advantages provided by Passive ESM Tracker (PET) sensors on the modern battlefield together with real and today highly relevant examples of sensor’s typical achievements. The current security situation in Europe has proven ever more growing importance of multistatic PET sensor supporting precise real-time target tracking and identification in benefit of Ground Based Air Defense (GBAD), which cannot be achieved by any other passive means. Appropriate integration into existing air defense net of systems can significantly support A2AD operations.
