Czech Defence Industry and Security Review - ERA is given the title The Company of the Year 2011.

The Frost & Sullivan Award for Technology Leadership is bestowed each year upon the company that has demonstrated excellence in technology leadership within their industry. ERA a.s.received the 2007 Technology Leadership Award for its work in the ADS-B field, where it achieved the number one industry ranking according to Frost & Sullivan’s industry analysts.

The Jane’s Award was presented to ERA in recognition of ERA’s achievement in wide area multilateration, specifically for their deployment in Ostrava, Czech Republic for the Czech ANS.

The NASA Turning Goals into Reality Award was presented to ERA for developing outstanding aeronautics technologies.

The ATCA Charles Varnell Award was presented to ERA “for achievement or contribution, which has added to the quality, safety or efficiency of air traffic control.”

The Air Traffic Control Association (ATCA) Chairman's Citation of Merit Award was presented to ERA for “outstanding achievement and contributions which have advanced the science of air traffic control and enhanced the professions of the Air Traffic Control (ATC) system."

The Federal Computer Week's Monticello Award is given in recognition of an information system that has a direct, meaningful impact on American lives. ERA was presented this award for advances in aircraft collision avoidance technologies.

The 1998 NASA Group Achievement Award was given to Era for contributions to aerospace technology for low visibility operations at airports.

Szczecin, Poland May 13 to 17, 2013  Specialists’ meeting and a business meeting of SET (Sensors and Electronics Technology) Panel of the NATO Science and Technology Organisation (STO) took place in Baltic Barracks in Szczecin. The live demonstrations of Passive Coherent Locators (PCL) accompanied the meeting: ERA`s Silent Guard, PCL CASSIDIAN (Germany) and PaRaDe Politechnika Warszawska (Poland).

Pardubice, May 14th, 2013 ERA has recently been developing a Multistatic Primary Surveillance Radar (MSPSR) passive known also as a Passive Coherent Location system (PCL). The newest, mobile version of this technology for air to ground surveillance will be introduced to the general public for the 1st time at the IDET Exhibition 2013 in Brno.

Czech TV News, April 27th, 2013 Czech Public Television broadcasted the report on ERA`s PCL system demonstrator called Silent Guard in primetime of Saturday night. PCL demonstrator is another significant milestone in MSPSR project developing in the company.

 

Brno April 17th, 2013 In the mid April ERA Company traditionally became a partner of the conference PVO 2013 in Brno. The event was organized by the Department of Air Defence Systems in the club of Faculty of Military Technology of University of Defence in Brno.
