ERA exhibited at IDEX in the United Arab Emirates
Abu Dhabi, February 21th, 2013 ERA Company exhibited at IDEX 2013 in Abu Dhabi, the capitol of the United Arab Emirates, in February. ERA took part in the official mission of military and defence industry producers of the Czech Republic. 23 Czech companies were among the hundreds of exhibitors from throughout the world who presented their products at the 124 thousand square metre large exhibition grounds.
The exhibition lasted five days and ERA Company took advantage of the presence of a number of important partners as well as new potential customers to present its portfolio of military products (focusing on its well-known VERA-NG system) and negotiate business issues. The exhibition provides an interactive platform for defence forces to assess the best products and technology to cater to their respective defence-related requirements.
Mr. Jaroslav Ludva, the Czech Ambassador in UAE, visited the event and emphasised the importance of Czech exports to this country. Considering the amount of Czech exportable goods outside Europe, UAE holds the 3rd to 4th position. The diplomat provided an official statement on ERA's defence technologies: “The VER-NG passive surveillance system by ERA is an exquisite commodity in Czech export thanks to its uniqueness and has been widely recognised in this part of the world. The IDEX exhibition is a great platform for presenting such products.”
On the IDEX exhibition
IDEX is the only tri-service exhibition in the Middle East & North Africa and has recently been considered the most strategically important defence exhibition in this region providing a business environment for international solution providers across land, sea and air sectors to target buyers. The event is held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE and Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces.

The UAE is a federation of seven emirates, each governed by a hereditary emir. The capital is Abu Dhabi, which is also the state's center of political, industrial, and cultural activities. UAE is one of the most developed economies in Western Asia, and its per capita income is the world's seventh highest.
Szczecin, Poland May 13 to 17, 2013 Specialists’ meeting and a business meeting of SET (Sensors and Electronics Technology) Panel of the NATO Science and Technology Organisation (STO) took place in Baltic Barracks in Szczecin. The live demonstrations of Passive Coherent Locators (PCL) accompanied the meeting: ERA`s Silent Guard, PCL CASSIDIAN (Germany) and PaRaDe Politechnika Warszawska (Poland).
Pardubice, May 14th, 2013 ERA has recently been developing a Multistatic Primary Surveillance Radar (MSPSR) passive known also as a Passive Coherent Location system (PCL). The newest, mobile version of this technology for air to ground surveillance will be introduced to the general public for the 1st time at the IDET Exhibition 2013 in Brno.
Czech TV News, April 27th, 2013 Czech Public Television broadcasted the report on ERA`s PCL system demonstrator called Silent Guard in primetime of Saturday night. PCL demonstrator is another significant milestone in MSPSR project developing in the company.
Brno April 17th, 2013 In the mid April ERA Company traditionally became a partner of the conference PVO 2013 in Brno. The event was organized by the Department of Air Defence Systems in the club of Faculty of Military Technology of University of Defence in Brno.
